- Once entering the trail, you have three options to explore. You may choose a shorter stroll through the wooded areas via the yellow trail (2,779ft), a slightly longer exploration via the green trail (4,910.5ft), or the full length of the trail all of the way to the lake and eagles’ nesting area (8,271.5ft).
- The Northeast Mississippi Nature & Interpretive Trail features eleven custom built bench areas that are located adjacent to wildlife habitats. There are also two Adirondack shelters available for visitors to rest in while enjoying our trail.
- Each bench and shelter is numbered so that emergency personnel can get your exact location should the need arise.
- The boardwalk area is approximately 200 feet in length. This area is surrounded by water and features a Native American educational area. The boardwalk also features two built in bench areas for seating.
