The Mississippi Municipal Excellence Awards were just presented during the MML Conference in Biloxi (June 2016). The City of Amory applied for and was awarded the City Spirit Award. This category is for groups of citizens who have gone “above and beyond” in their efforts to make their community a better place to live. This is an award that honors citizens who make their community a good place to call home. This award is for the “unsung heroes” of the community. Amory’s citizens, this award is for you!
